Once again we headed into Melbourne Zoo to be part of the Nikon School and get some more great advice. Naturally, we arrived early so we could wander about and take a few shots prior to the class.
We started by visiting the pygmy hippopotamus:
And the canopy walk, where we found various grooming sessions going on:
Whilst the gorillas enjoyed an early morning snack:
And the tiger paraded his stripes:
The Orangutan seemed to be trying to undo a bolt:
But stopped after noticing that we were watching:
Of course, we couldn’t go off to the Nikon School without first visiting those three cheeky male lions who kindly made some great faces and poses, seemingly just for us:
Wait, what was that wink for?
Maybe he was just letting me know it was time to go to school.
We headed off to the meeting point and found this little bird in the tree looking like he wanted to join us:
